![]() I have loved this movie since I was a little girl. Even though I have not seen it in many years I have never forgotten it. It is a beautiful, charming and very well made movie. ![]() This DVD is fantastic, it contains a widescreen presentation of a movie that kids love and parents will not get sick and tired of. This is an adventure/coming of age story of a dog and a cat, with nary a human being in sight. All kinds of animals make appearances and contribute to the plot! Narrated by Dudley Moore, who died recently (last year?) with some of the best cinematography EVER - amazing nature footage that will always captivate little ones attention. Highly, highly recommended. ![]() This movie is very cute! It is sweet and entertaining, but I have to say, my fiance and I were very concerned about the treatment of the animals. Some people say it is "fake" but I don't think so. They didn't have that kind of technology in 1986, did they? If so, good job on a realistic depiction of a pug being smacked by a bear, or a cat being attacked by seagulls and falling off a cliff. :-o ![]() Milo and Otis is an absolutely adorable movie! I own a pug and let me tell you that Otis's mannerisms and the way he behaves is very true to the breed. Otis is very ornery and gets into so many things, just like pugs really do. I felt so bad and wanted to cry when he got stuck out in the snow towards the end of the movie. I am very glad that he made a friend in Milo and their travels together will warm the coldest of hearts. The end is a perfect end to their travels and now there is not just two of them anymore! ![]() I bought The Adventures of Milo and Otis many years ago for entertainment on a chartered bus trip of former business associates and their families. I chose the movie for its low risk value in terms of offensive content. I fell in love with the movie. Dudley Moore provides a splendid narration for all the characters. The animals are adorable. Many years later, I have introduced the movie to my two year old son who calls it his "Dog and Cat Movie". He chuckles warmly throughout the movie. It has become one of his favorites. |
