 "THIS MOVIE WAS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF 50 MINUTES OF MY LIFE!!!"This movie should be drug out into the middle of the street and shot. I can't beleive that they would discrace N.S. like that. Please don't buy this movie, or even waste your precious time watching it. "This movie lacked a lot of things."I am a big fan of anime. I thought it was going to be Ninja Scroll 2. It even says it on the back. What a joke it discraces anime. I wasted a good twenty bucks on this. IT IS NOT THE SEQUEL TO NINJA SCROLL!!! DO NOT BUT THIS MOVIE.  "down, but do not count it out"well, first off it is absolutely not the sequel to Ninja Scroll (though it claims to be). the art work and characters are totally different. and on top of that it is a little slow at first and ends with the cliche do not totally discount this film yet though. the story line is actually involving, and leaves room to grow, the art though not as spectacular as 'Scroll ir cool in a stylized way (kind of like a moving version of the old japanese paintings of the era). and the characters have some room to grow. additional coolness is awarded to the fact that the characters resemble (in name at least) actual people from Japanese history of around the era. some thing to keep an eye on as the rest of the series is released "Major disappointment"I watched this movie like everyone else, thinking it was somehow related to Ninja Scroll. Ha, what a disappointment it was. Seemed to have nothing to do with Ninja Scroll other than Ninja in the title and Jubei for the name of one of the characters. Do not watch. A complete waste of time. I am now dumber for having watched this movie. "Hand me the Pepto, I think I'm going to be sick..."Being a big fan of Ninja Scroll, I was really excited when I saw this on the shelf. Watching it I almost cried. It is almost sacrilegious to make any tie between this horrible mess and Ninja Scroll. The only reason I gave it one star is because Amazon lacks a turkey symbol... |
