"Ehhhhhhhhhh"
If I was Japanese I might like it more and still living in the 80's.

"BOO"
Ok I saw vhd bloodlust first stupid me I know. But It was well werth it because I knew who "D" was. And what he can do. So yah it is a must see art work is a littel shoty but come on it was the 80's or the 90's.

"Vampire Hunter D"
I love this movie! It introduced me to anime, yet it remains my favorite one. I have four copies. A couple of them are messed up from constant viewing. It's that good!

"Disappointed"
I purchased this DVD accidentally instead of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (which I later bought and thought excellent), and I hated it. The characters were flat, the voice acting (even in Japanese) less than pefect, the animation horribly rendered, and the music awful. It didn't even have an intriguing plot to boost my liking of it. I rarely finish a movie without enjoying at least one aspect of it, but I fail to find the slightest good point in Vampire Hunter D. If you like vampire stories, then do yourself a favor and skip right onto Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. It's tenfold better. Don't waste your money on this, or at least rent it first.

"Classic 80's Anime Film"
To start off this movie is awesome, okay okay the animation's kinda bad and the storyline is a little hard to follow for the youngens.
