"This movie will "Catch You, Catch Me"!"
This movie was my first glimpse into the world of Cardcaptor Sakura. It captured me faster than a Clow Card!!!!
I had never seen the dubbed version on American TV so I had no preconcived notion as to how the characters should sound and I found them delightful, especially Tomoyo (she appeals to the bookworm in me). Having now watched the anime in Japanese I find that the english pronunciation of names is fairly accurate and the dialogue is well translated.
Though I'm sure it is confusing to fans of Cardcaptors, the 'english' personalities of the characters are more in line with their Japanese counterparts from the original anime and the manga. They are supportive of each other and set a great example for kids (the movie is rated PG though so you may want to screen it beforehand) but at the same time they are complex enough to be enjoyed by adults.
I recomend this movie to anyone, period.

"great...."
Cardcaptors Sakura is one of the best anime series ever made in the history of Japanese cinematics.... Dudes, you have gotta see this movie... Sakura is as cute as ever, Li is awesome... Now beat that...

"Cardcaptor Sakura- The Sealed Card"
In this movie, Sakura finds out how she feels about Syaoran. Her class is doing a play for the festival and Sakura stars as princess. Syaoran and Melin come to the festival and bumps into Sakura at the amusment park. Every time Sakura wants to tell Syaoran how she feels, she gets interrupted. The day before Sakura's class does the play, she and her friends go to the amusment park. When they enter the mirror house, they feel the precence of a Clow Card. Some of Sakura's Sakura Cards get stolen from a strange girl. At the play the next day, Yamazaki gets hurt and can't play the prince at the play. Syaoran said he knew all the lines and was willing to do it. During the play, people started to disappear. At the end, Sakura finally tells Syaoran how she feels about him.

"Amazingly cute but disturbingly deceptive."
Syaoran has always been my favorite anime/manga character ever since the first day I set eyes on him... and up until today, that still hasn't changed. So one of the reasons why I purchased the special DVD version of the second CCS movie (I already had 2 VHS copies and another DVD version), was because I love it so much! Syaoran is as cute as ever and I specially like his action sequence and the decision he makes near the end. His acting has improved quite a lot since episodes 41-42 of the TV series (anyone remember Syaoran as princess Aurora? ^_~)
The animation is very good too and the BGMs know exactly when to hit. My only complaints on the movie was the fact that it seems to be 5 seconds short or something. It does finish like that, but it leaves the fans a bit disappointed, since I'm sure we all would like to see the next few seconds (and perhaps more! ^_^) after its ending.
That was the other reason why I bought this special version, after all, it does say on the extras that it includes additional NINE minutes. Well, I'm yet to find those! So either I don't know how to handle DVDs yet or this was just some sort of lie to get us to buy this!
Don't be fooled... there are no 9 extra minutes (at least not that I have found).
But if you haven't seen this movie yet, BUY IT anyway... it's oen of the best anime movies I've ever seen!
And then you might start understanding why I love Syaoran-sama this much! ^_~

"Cardcaptor Sakura- The Sealed Card"
Even though I am used to watching the regular English dubbed version of CCS (Though I do watch the Japanese version from time to time), I was rather surprised by their Second Feature Length movie. I certainly prefer the English dubbing of this movie rather than the whole dubbed series itself. The characters are much more like their original counterparts, (Tomoyo doesn't seem much like a valley-girl with that `I'm better than you because I'm rich' `air' surrounding her, Sakura doesn't seem so whiney and `bratish', etc) which is great for any Cardcaptor Sakura fan out their.

Although the voices are different, and may take some getting used to, I recommend this movie to anyone in love with the CCS plot line. I also recommend watching it in both of the languages, although I believe the Japanese version is better (Maybe because they have the same voice-actors through the series and I feel more comfortable watching it) Although it is different from the dub, it does stay true to the original `Cardcaptor Sakura.'
