"Not as good as hoped.."
I personally LOVE InuYasha for its witty characters, great plot, and terrific execution onto film..but I found the first movie a bit disappointing (although I still like it) after watching the second, third and fourth movie. The first one was boring because it felt like an elongated episode, whereas the second, third, and fourth movie actually looked like MOVIES..and the antagonist of this movie was killed off way too easily. The reason why I felt like it was just an elongated episode and not like a real movie like the rest of the InuYasha movies was because the plot was just too simple..it was an episode plot..but it was still an OK movie. Just not as good as the rest

"Best InuYasha Anime I've Ever Seen"
I love this movie. I guess I can't really be one to judge, since I've only seen a handful of episodes (I'm usually asleep by the time it comes on O.O), but this is completely the best InuYasha thing ever made. I love it to death.

"InuYasha The Movie Affections Touching Across Time"
This movie is awesome! It is agreat movie and a must have for any InuYasha fan. I really enjoyed the adventure and action in this film and the great storyline. I won't spoil it for you. All I can say is if you like the InuYasha t.v. series, you will definately like the movie. So buy it on DVD at Amazon.com.

"Feels Like an extended Episode"
Well first off, I am a fan of the Inu Yasha tv series. This film felt more like a very long episode, rather than an actual movie. The story wasn't particularly impressive either. Inu Yasha and his friends have to stop the son of his father's old enemy before he can steel the souls of everyone in Japan. Of course the good guys always win "yawn."
Honostly Inu Yasha and Kagome deserve each other. They're both winey and quick-tempered. Kikyou would be better off with someone else. I wish she was in the series more, too. Kagome makes a big deal about never seeing Inu Yasha again, but we all know she will. Really, if she loves him, then she should just tell him already.
Well anyway this movie is okay. The second film is a bit better. I heard that movie 3 was the best film. I look forward to seeing it when it comes out in September.
