"Really good"
Appleseed is a brilliant film that has great balance between story and action. I just can't stress how in anything, may it be liveaction, anime or whatever, without a solid story a film just really isn't compelling. Appleseed does a great job with the development of the main characters, plot, and climax. This film is to complex for a little kid to understand, so anyone under the age of 16 don't bother. Very awesome film.

"DVD and Action Figure package"
My package was numbered 5670/8000 from Amazon, and sealed in a blister package, and comes with the "Limited Collector's Edition (2-disc set)" DVD. Unfortunately, to open the blister package will possibly cause some damage to the number tag.

The action figure looks like Amazon's picture, only where it is silver, instead the one I have is bronze/gold, and the action figure is made out of plastic.

I wasn't very impressed with the display and packaging choices, as the figure is stacked behind the DVD in the blisterpack.

I like this movie a lot, but it seems like a waste to open the package.

"Anime Fans, This Is A Must See!"
First off, this movie looks impressive. Not only do they do a good job of rendering the background, but the small details they put in when some heavy fight scenes occur make this movie stand out. If you have a home entertainment system, this thing will make good use of it. If you're willing to overlook the small issues of how the characters kind of glide against the backdrop, this movie will keep you entertained from the get go. I recommend this for any anime fan.

"Anime rulz"
Why would they make an action figure come along with this movie it will make kids think the the movie is for them but really it's rated "R". I like the movie it's one of those anime's that place in the future the orginal "Appleseed" was made back in 1988 but it had nothing on "Akira" now this new version has 3D meats 2D at the same time how amazing.

"The best Anime movie of all time"
Graphically speaking, this is the best anime movie of all time. And they had a limited budget. The story is magnificent, and the dialogue is ok. The city driving in a hover car was the best and most colorful part of the movie. Plus the beginning of the movie with the gruesome head crushing and blood mist in the air-WOW. This anime is better than great, Its Magnificent.
