From Amazon.com Four months after the end of the broadcast series, Sakura and her friends are starting 6th grade; Toya and Yuki are college freshmen. The magical Clow Cards have been captured, but Shaoran Li has returned to Hong Kong, and Sakura has yet to respond to his declaration of love. Tomoyo arranges for him and Meilin to visit for the opening of an amusement park on the site of Eriol's house. The bulldozers free an unknown 53rd Card, which promptly causes problems. In a plot that recalls Tenchi in Tokyo, the Card wrecks havoc not out of malice, but because of the loneliness it endured while it was sealed away. Sakura manages to resolve everything satisfactorily--with some help from her friends. The English vocal cast is better than the one for Cardcaptors, but the film is more entertaining in Japanese with subtitles. (Rated 13 and older: minor violence) --Charles Solomon |
 "Love is so cute it's offical "I liked this movie alot. And I reccomend it to every anime fan. Guys may diss it cause it's pink and stuff but you'll love it too.  "the review of the day"the card captor the movie 2 is really great, theirs romance and friendship involve. when sakura`s cards beagan to disapear she can barely senses at the begining but when she saw her cards are disappearing before her very eyes she cant do anything about it. sakura needs to give up one important feeling to defeat the enemy. this is almost all the parts i like about this movie. this movie is great. you all card captor fans should buy this movie.see yah. "Simply Fantastic!"First of all, I wish the end would be extended a little bit longer so I can watch what happen to shaoran and sakura!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, this is one of the greatest cartoon ever made!!!!! If there were more coming out I would definitely buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope the authors would write some more so we can watch some more of this masterpiece!!!!!! I give it 100000 stars out of 5 stars!!!!!!!!! "An Absolute Masterpiece"I never saw the first movie or the Japanese series. I've not seen the English dubbed version in years. I've only read the manga. Yet, I understood everything that went on in the movie. Even my younger brother, who's eight, loves the movie, and understands almost all of it. That's the beauty of the movie. Most of it is self explanitory, and you don't need to be a huge fan of the show for everything to make sense. The artwork is simply incredible. I would recommend watching it in Japanese. The English version, I found to be a bit annoying. Sakura's voice is far too high and squeaky, although Syaoran's is alright. I would reccommend this movie even for younger children, despite the fact that the rating reccomends it for age 13 and up.
