Especially if you know Japanese, as I do ^.- "Orenji no Taiyou..." OK! listen up! this movie = great. Gackt, HYDE, and Wang Lehom all gave amazing performances. People can say what they like about their acting, but the first 2 times i saw this movie, it was in a raw un-subtitled format. The story, and acting was good enough that i didnt miss much, and no i dont speak japanese. I ave since seen the movie subtitled and i enjoy it even more. This isnt a typical Vampire movie, and it isnt a typical Yakuza movie, it is so much more. It has a touching storyline and memorable characters. I think everyone should give this movie a chance, i dont think you will be unhappy with it. it is emotional and action filled, funny and tragic. "Best movie to come from Japan" First of all, this movie is the best! It has a beautiful story and great action, too! Hyde and Gackt were great for their first time breaking into the movie/film business. I personal loved the relationship of Kei and Sho. Yeah it's a little homo-erotic, but it's so beautiful! I recommend this movie to everyone. BUut if you don't like this movie and you have been saying bad things about it, then you really understand the movie in the first place. Peace out! "My review" I don't know why this movie gets bad ratings. It's a great movie. I'm not saying it's perfect or anything, because it's not. I'll start off with the bad things about it. The acting isn't the best, of course, the three main characters are singers, not actors, but for singers, they sure do well at acting. There's no really memorable music (except Orenji no Taiyou, the song Luka taught Hyde...er... Kei XD), and I guess it *can* be slow at times. But the good. It's got memorable characters. Movies are good if they can easily control your emotions. If they easily move you from happy to sad to angry. This movie does it all. Everything ties together nicely at the end, and it leaves you satisfied and with a few things to think about. I highly reccommend this to people who want a movie that isn't about the killing and blood, but about the emotions and messages behind the picture ;) "YAAAY!!" Moonchild was the BEST MOVIE EVER!!! Gackt and Hyde's relationship was adorable. ^_^ The.. gun scenes were really amazing, though sometimes confusing about who was shooting who.. Overall, great movie! It all made SENSE! And.. the ending was beautiful. Best vampire ending possible. ^_^
