"One word describes this. AWESOME!!!"
I purchased this movie as soon as it came out in best buy. I have got to say that this is by far one of the greatest movies of my collection. It starts off with Inuyasha's father talking to sesshomaru and after that things begin to heat up. It turns out that Inuyasha was to be born on that same night and his father was just wounded from battle. WIth that in mind he is still determined to go and protect his wife and son. Upon his arrival there seems to be guards preventing the great dog demon from entering so there was only one solution which was to move or die. We get to see his father use all three of his awesome swords and how each of them play an important role. Tenseiga the sword of heaven weilded by sesshomaru has to power to save 100 lives, Tetsaiga the sword of earth has the power to slay 100 enemies with a single swing, and the sounga the sword of hell which can summon 100 corpses from the gates of hell. This was overall a great story and I recommend this movie to all inuyasha fans.

"Cool Movie!"
Inu Yasha: Swords of a Honorable Ruler, while not the best Inu Yasha movie is still a worthy edition to possibly one of the greatest anime's ever made. To start of the animation in this film is stunning, it moves fluently and the artwork is top notch. What amazes me( this compliment applies more to movies two and three ) is how much better the animation looks in the Inu yasha movies than the TV series. You can tell the animators put alot of time and effort into the technical asspects of these films. Very well done!!! Im actually very suprised to see so many people complaining about the new character designs and look to these films. People, it's a movie the characters are supposed to look slightly different to thier original design. Think about it, if the characters looked the same in the movies as they did in the series it would feel like you were watching an extended episode of the TV show. And that isn't a very good felling now is it?
I enjoyed the plot of this film also. It's probaly not as good as the plot in movie 2, but still cool none the less. It had alot of Sesshomaru, which is always awesome. I really like Sesshomaru as a charcater, and this movie displays how complex he his regarding his feelings toward Inu yasha and the fact that it was his human mother who led thier great father to his death. Thats actually pretty much how the movie opens, they show Inu yasha being born along with the death of the mighty Inu Papa. Also Inu Papa has not only one but two big furry things on his back. Another thing, don't expect a really indepth analysis on Inu yasha and sesshomaru's past because you won't get too much. In fact they really don't even show Inu Papa all that much. You actually see very little of his face, I guess they didn't want to show too much, on the count of this movie is basically just a filler interpretation on Inu yasha's past.
Now I havent bought this film yet in american, I only have a subtitled version I bought about a year ago so I dont know how the dub is, but the japanese voices were really great in the film. The music in the movie is also really good.
So overall, Inu yasha movie 3 is a really good adventure story and I highly recomend purchasing it, just make sure you know enough about the TV show first.

"Awesome movie!!"
This movie is one of the best I've seen. If you like Inuyasha, you'll like this movie! I actually bought this movie at Best Buy. Best Buy sells it with the soundtrack included(you can only get the soundtrack with it if you get it at Best Buy. It's a Best Buy exclusive. Also the one I got came with one of those collector cards). I'm not sure how long it will be available with the soundtrack, as I bought this on the day it came out.

"Best Inu-Yasha Movie ever!!!!!!"
WOW. It was such an amazing show! Out of the 3 Inu-Yasha movies i have seen the third was the best. I would recommend buying this one if you have seen the other two...And if you are going to skip right to this one you will fall in love with it and buy the rest anyway so just start out at the biginning!!!!The action was awesome! I cannot wait to see what the 4th movie has to bring!

"The Greatest InuYasha Movie!!!!!!"
InuYasha: Swords of the Honorable Ruler is by far the most fabulous InuYasha movie. I haven't seen the English version, but any how it's all the same. This movie we finally meet InuYasha and Sesshoumaru's father. What I really enjoyed about this movie was Sesshoumaru, I love him. InuYasha and Sesshoumaru really worked together, they were almost like brothers(LOL). There's humor between Sango/Miroku, and Kagome and InuYasha. It is really about how everybody pools together to defeat Sou'unga the evil sword of InuYasha's father. If you haven't seen the third movie you HAVE to see it, it's better then the first two.
