The truth is that the first movie got horribale revewis and I did not like it much... this movie was a hit! the oregoneon says it is a suprisnly enertaing movie. I expected it to be a sapy corny movie... no way. after I came out of the movie I was saying what a great movie it was! "Best Movie in the year 2000!" I highly recomend it to Poke'maniacs! I got the Acient Mew card and the 3 legendary birds! They start July 28.It has new pokemon including Lugia, Hoohoo, Lady-ba and King Slowbro. You will have an awsome time if you go see the Poke'mon The Movie 2000! "The Best Pokemon Movie Yet" Well, all I have to say is that the movie was great. I have the Japenese Version on laserdisc already and can watch it anytime. I have also been to the theaters and seen it and it was awesome. Overall I'd give this movie a five star rating and say that it is one that everyone should watch. ""Disturb not the harmonies of Fire, Ice, or Lightning..."" This is one of the best movies of the whole summer! It was much better than the original movie.(Although that one was good too.) It has awesome special effects, a great story line, and of course plenty of action. This time Ash and his friends crash land on an island right in the middle of the Orange Islands. The habitants there have a ritual where they choose some one to be "The Chosen One" and the one chosen must find three crystal balls each with the elements of Fire, Ice, and Lightning. .... Unlike Pikachu's Vacation, The mini-movie Pikachu's Rescue Adventure, has action in it so it makes it a much more entertaining mini movie. Over all this is one of the best movies of the summer. .... ...GO SEE THIS MOVIE! IT ROCKS! IT'S EXCITING, HAS A GREAT PLOT, AND AWESOME SPECIAL EFFECTS! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT! "This Movie Rules!" The Mini-Movie was ok, but not as exciting as Pikachu's Vacation. When the real thing started, it was too awesome to resist. If Ash, Team Rocket, and Lugia had not worked together, it would be bye-bye.
