"excellent story" If you liked ninja scroll you will enjoy this movie. The story is good and is not another hack and slash movie although it had alot of action in it. For the collectors out there i would suggest getting this movie, you wont be dissappointed cause just when you think you got it figured out they surprise you at the end. "Gory, Yet incredibile story about the Shadow ninja>" Inspiring artwork with loads of gore. It has an overall ominous feel to it. Yet it also manages to portray the gruesome realism of war. "Wasn't as good as Ninja Scroll" I rented Wrath of the Ninja from Blockbuster recently and it wasn't what I expected at all. The animation and the characters were great but the storyline was kind of boring and slow. Probably worth renting once. "awesome!" This was a really well put together anime, incredible animation, great battle scenes, very good story, and average dubbing. Some of the music isn't very good, but it does have it's high points. Wrath of the Ninja wasn't the best, but it ranks up there with Slayers and Dirty Pair. If you like anime and non-stop action, this is a must buy! "Anime lovers, this one's for you!" Ok, it's not Ninja Scroll. BIG DEAL. Wrath of the Ninja holds its own, beginning with the storytelling introduction--the year of Tensho. The gore wasn't too graphic for my tastes, but the animation quality was definitely up to par. The dialogue was as important, if not more important, than the action-packed fight scenes. One thing that was disappointing was the repeat of the demon-ninja death scene. The animators got a little lazy here, & simply re-used a death scene already featured earlier in the film. Because of the plot's complexity, it's probably necessary to see the film more than once. Between trying to keep up with Nobunaga's (demon-god) schemes & the 7 Hosts of Oboro, it can be a little dizzying. A good film. I own it--check this one out! |
