"Disappointing dubbing"
There's always problems when dubbing movies from Japanese to English, and it's guaranteed that you'll get one or two laughs. But the dubbing for this movie is terrible, if only for the fact that Fire Rodan is called "Radon" in the movie. It's a shame because the FX are great and the story is, too. "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah" is a much better film and a fitting end to the "Heisei" series.

"The Best movie of the Heisei series"
This movie is one of Godzilla's best. I really like how TOHO re-designed Rodan, Baby Godzilla and MechaGodzilla, Rodan is given a more dragon look and can now blast a heat beam from his mouth like Godzilla. Mechagodzilla is given a smoother, sleeker look and has more powerful weapons than before. Baby Godzilla is given a more dinosaur look and isn't as cute as before. Godzilla as always looks great, his head now displays more life like expressions than in any of the movies before this. The theme music is great it really gets you into the movie. The battles keep you at the edge of your seat, and the special effects are great. This movie is fun for the whole family, I would recommend this movie to any Godzilla fan, Sci-Fi fan, or anyone who wants to see a fun monster movie.

"Pretty good as far as Godzilla movies go!"
Godzilla comes back to Japan for some eggs...but not before encountering Rodan and later Mechagodzilla, and SuperMechagodzilla. This movie has one of the best rubber monster suit fights since Godzilla vs. Megalon. The special effects do not come close to American big screen release but nonetheless they are cool. Godzilla's and Rodan's fire breath (yes, I said Rodan's) was done very nicely. The new Godzillasaurus as it is called, is a much better looking baby Godzilla than the one from the 60's. Although the story is far fetched (well and then again, it is a Godzilla movie, aren't they all far fetched?) the action keeps this one moving pretty quickly. This one is on a par with the newer Godzilla vs. King Ghidora. If you like these movies, then this one is a must own!

"This is the one of the best Godzilla movies made."
This movie is great!! It is far better than the original 1974 classic. And this movie has some of the best special effects of any of these movies. With the appearance of Radan, this makes the movie that much more enjoyable. And in this version of Mechagodzilla, the mighty lizard is nearly destroyed my the mechanical menace, unlike in the first one where the battle wasn't all that impressive. Plus in this movie, we actually get to see Godzilla's offspring, but it still isn't made clear if Godzilla is a male or female, but it won't really matter to all you fans, don't worry this isn't another Minya from "Son of Godzilla" or "Godzilla's Revenge" The Mechagodzilla looks awesome and puts it's 1974 and 1975 counterparts to shame. This is my second favorite Heisei Series (1984-1995) film, only preceeded by "Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah".
