"WOW! Just WOW!!"
Knowing the difference in time between this movie and the first American release of Vampire Hunter D, I kinda like this one better. I have them both and watched them in a row, but this one just clicked more. If you loved the first one, or are an anaime fan in general you WILL love this movie.....

"Worthy Sequel to the old Vampire Hunter D"
Well, to make it short this Movie has it all. Bloody action, little humor ( some of it quite dark ) and a love Story.
It features even some of the coolest Animation I've ever seen !!
But there is only one thing with the 5.1 sound on the DVD I found a little anoying.
They pretty much f...ked up the whole sound settings.
At first I thought it was just my Sony DD Receiver messing it up. But when I got my new Harman/Kardon 3500 AVR I noticed it really was the DVD Sound !! Well, ok it's not too bad. But it's pretty dumb to pump the db's into effects and quite too little for the dialogs comming up front !
That's why I can give this cool Anime only 4 Stars !

"The worst anime I have ever seen!"
I am a semi-Otaku (a fan of Anime, to those of you who don't know) I love anime but I haven't seen alot. I got this movie just because people said it was an awesome movie. I thought it was going to be a real cool flick, because I like vampire movies and most of them are good (with the slight exception of "Queen of the Damned" which is very very different) but this movie absolutely (bad)! I can't believe I wasted money on this movie. It is an absolute waste of time. I'm glad that I sold it because it (bad)big time! If you're an anime fan, don't buy it, save your money and rent it and if you like it then buy it, but don't buy it just because someone thinks you will like it!

"A True Masterpiece"
I've seen so many Animes, they all seem to be blurring together. This one shown out through all the rest, the animation is amazing, with a mix between digital 3-D computer animation and high quality hand drawn. D, is a very interesting character. You won't ever see another character like him in another anime, except of course for the first Vampire Hunter D. You'll be placed at the edge of your seat as Vampires, and various demons cause havoc for the the main characters of the film.
There's plenty of special features, including tons of Previews for other animes.

Take my word for it, from a guy who's seen about every anime humanly possible, this is a stand alone masterpiece.

"BLOOD LUST THIS"
OK NOW I'AM ONLY 13 BUT THIS MOVIE KINKS SO MUCH A** THAT YOU WILL CREAM YOUR PANTS. NOW I KNOW THAT IT IS AN ANIME BUT IT KICKS SO MUCH IT'S MORE OR LESS A 2 ONE THE FIRST ONE WAS OK IT WAS NOT THE BEST BUT FOR IT'S TIME I GIVE IT PROPS. BUT IN THIS ONE THE VAMPS TRY TO KILL THE VAMP HUNTER. PLUS THERE IS A LITTLE BACK SIDE OF A WOMEN SHOWING THAT MAKES ME HAPPY ALRIGHT. SO IN ALL ONISTY I RECOMAND THIS DVD IF YOU LIKE VAMP MOVIES.
